Hotel Shree Ganesh

You can find us at G/10 Pannalal Terrace on D B Marg. This is right in the heart of the Lamington Road area in Grant Road, Mumbai. If you know this part of the city, you know it is always loud and crowded with people looking for electronics or just trying to get to the station. We are tucked in next to the Kabir Wadi Mandir. You can often hear the bells from the temple while we are working inside. The building, Pannalal Terrace, has that old Mumbai feel to it with the high ceilings and the way the walls are built. It’s 400007, a busy pin code where something is always happening outside the door. We aren't a big hotel with a lobby or anything like that. It’s more of a practical place where people stop because they are already in the area for work or shopping. The street is usually full of delivery carts and people walking fast. We spend our mornings getting the space ready and the evenings closing up after the sun goes down over Grant Road. It’s a lot of manual work and we don't have any fancy systems. We just know our neighbors and the people who walk past every day. Living and working in this part of Mumbai means you get used to the noise and the tight spaces. We just do our best to stay organized in the middle of all the chaos of Lamington Road.
