Hotel Raj

Hotel Raj is tucked away in the Zaveri Building on M A Ali Road. Being near Super Cinema and right across from Oriental Plaza means there is always something going on outside our windows. Grant Road is a fast-moving area, and we are right in the thick of it. We have been here for years, serving folks who need a simple room in Mumbai. The building is old, like most things around here, but it has character. We spend our mornings cleaning up and getting ready for whoever shows up next. It is a bit of a climb sometimes depending on which floor you are on. We don’t go for anything too flash or modern. Most of our guests are just looking for a place to crash after a long day of work or travel in the city. The traffic noise is constant, but you get used to it after an hour or two. We handle everything from the front desk ourselves. There is no big corporate office behind us, just us trying to keep the rooms decent. It gets busy on weekends because of the markets nearby. We try to keep things running smooth even when it feels a bit hectic. Life here is mostly about managing the small details and talking to the people who walk through the door. It is a straightforward business, and we like it that way. No big promises, just a room on a busy street in a crowded building.
