You can find us on the 5th floor of the Hind Rajstan Building. The address is 95 Dadasaheb Phalke Road, right by the Dadar Central Railway station. Being in Dadar means it is always incredibly crowded outside. You can hear the trains and the announcements from the station if you listen closely. We have been in this building for many years now. It is an old place and the elevator sometimes takes a minute to get up to the 5th floor, but it works. We mostly see people who are coming into Mumbai by train and need a place that is close to the tracks. It is not a quiet area, but that is just how life is in this part of the city. We spend our mornings cleaning the rooms and making sure everything is in order before the next set of people arrive. The 400014 area is full of life and markets, so there is always something happening right outside the door. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who handle everything from the front desk to the laundry. It is a lot of work keeping up with the dust from the street and the constant flow of guests. We don't use any fancy systems, just a pen and a ledger for most things. It is a simple place for travelers who want to be right in the middle of the action near the station without spending too much.
