Hotel Hanuman Lunch Home

We run this place at Shop No 9 and 10 in Dubey Compound. It's right on S V Road here in Dahisar. If you know the area, we're just near the petrol pump. It is a busy spot in Mumbai. My family has been around this neighborhood for a while now. We open up early to get things ready for the lunch crowd. The kitchen is usually noisy by ten in the morning. We don't have fancy decorations or anything like that. It is just a regular lunch home where people from the nearby offices and the shops come to eat. Sometimes the traffic on S V Road gets really loud, but you get used to it. We just focus on serving the food and keeping the tables clean. There are a lot of people passing by because of the petrol pump nearby. We see the same faces every day, mostly locals who work around Dahisar West. It’s not a big place, just these two shops joined together. We keep the fans running because it gets hot in the afternoons. People come in, have their meal, and head back to work. We don't do much advertising. Most people just walk in because they see the sign while driving past. We've been in this compound for years. It’s a simple setup. We handle the shopping for vegetables ourselves every morning at the market. That's just how we do things here in our little corner.
