Hotel Gulistan

You will find Hotel Gulistan at 196, Lamington Road. We are right next to the Minerva Cinema, which is a place everyone in this part of Mumbai knows. Lamington Road is always full of people looking for electronics, so it is a very busy street. Our hotel is an old building that has been here through a lot of changes in the city. The rooms are small but they serve the purpose for someone who needs to stay in the heart of the city. We don't have fancy carpets or designer lights. It’s just a place to stay. The noise from the street comes in, but you get used to the sounds of taxis and people talking. We have a small entrance and a narrow staircase. The staff knows most of the regular guests who come for business. Being near Minerva Cinema makes it easy to give directions to anyone. We don't provide big meals, but there are plenty of stalls nearby. It’s an honest, simple business. We spend our days checking people in, making sure the water is running, and keeping the place tidy. It’s not a resort, just a regular city hotel. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the decades but we stay here at number 196 doing our thing. It is a bit worn down in places, but we keep the doors open for anyone needing a cheap room.
