Hotel Evergreen

We are located on the ground floor of the Evergreen building in Khar West. Being on R T Road means we’re really close to the Khar railway station, which is handy for anyone using the local trains. It’s a busy spot. You can hear the trains sometimes, but that’s expected when you’re this close to the tracks. We’ve been here at 12-A for a good bit of time. It’s a small operation. We don’t have a massive staff, just a few of us making sure things are okay. The entrance is right on the street level, so you don't have to worry about stairs or elevators much. Khar is a lively area, lots of shops and people moving about all day. Our place is just a spot to crash after a long day in the city. We don’t do big breakfasts or anything like that. People usually just grab something from the vendors nearby. The rooms are basic, just what you need for a night or two. It gets a bit crowded on the street outside during peak hours. If you’re coming from the station, it’s just a short walk. We see a lot of regulars who come to Mumbai for business and need a place that’s easy to get to. It's just a regular local guesthouse really. We don't try to be anything we aren't, so it's mostly just beds and bathrooms for travelers who need them. We hope it’s enough for those who just need a place to stay.
