Hotel Durga Parameshwari

You can find us on S P Road, right in the heart of Kamathipura-Mumbai Central. Hotel Durga Parameshwari has been around this part of Mumbai for quite some time now. It’s a very old area with narrow streets and lots of noise and history. We are located on the 11th Kamathipura lane. It gets very crowded here during the day with all the shops, vendors, and laborers moving about. Our building is quite old, but we try to keep it in decent shape. It’s a lot of work to paint and fix the plumbing in these old Mumbai structures, especially in the monsoon. We don't have a big lobby with air conditioning or fancy lights. We just have ceiling fans and open windows. My family has been involved in this business for many years. We know the neighbors and the local shopkeepers by their first names. People stay with us because they need to be near the Mumbai Central station for their trains. It's a convenient spot if you don't mind the street noise and the crowds. We don't offer anything fancy, just a clean bed and a roof over your head. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps when it’s finally quiet at night. The city never really sleeps around here. We see people moving goods on carts at all hours. It's a tough place to run a business, but it's our home and we like it here.
