Hotel Deluxe

Hotel Deluxe is tucked away at 10/A, Pitha Street in the Fort area of Mumbai. Being at the 400001 address means we are right in the heart of the old city. We are opposite the Citibank lane, which is a good landmark for people who get lost in these narrow streets. Fort is a busy place with lots of history, and our hotel is just one small part of it. The building is older, which is common for Pitha Street. It has high ceilings and the kind of walls you don't see in new constructions. We don't have a big lobby, just a small space where we sit and wait for guests. Most of our day is spent dealing with the humidity and making sure the rooms feel okay for the people staying there. Mumbai is a fast city, but in this little lane, things feel a bit slower. We get a lot of people who work in the nearby offices or tourists who want to be near the historic sites. We don't offer much more than a clean room and a bit of quiet from the street noise. It’s a simple setup. We like the location because everything is within walking distance. It’s just us here, running the place day by day on Pitha Street, trying to keep up with the pace of Fort without losing our heads.
