Hotel Delux

This place is right in the middle of everything in Kurla. We’re in the Mubeen Manzil Building, which sits right across from the bus depot at Powai Central Avenue. If you know the area, you know how hectic it gets with the buses coming and going all day long. The noise is just something you get used to after a week of working here. We’ve got folks coming in from the Kurla Business Park and people just hopping off the bus looking for a cheap room. The building is older, and we do our best to keep it clean, but it’s a lot of work with so much dust from the road. I usually spend my time talking to guests or sorting out the laundry. We don't have a big website or a team of people doing PR. It’s just us. The rooms are basic, nothing special to look at, but they work for someone who needs to stay in the city without spending a fortune. It’s a convenient spot because you can get anywhere from that bus stand. We see all kinds of people, from workers to families traveling. Sometimes it feels like the whole city is passing by our front door. We just try to stay on top of things and make sure everyone has a key and a clean towel. It’s a busy life here in Mumbai. We don't do anything special, just keep the lights on for our guests.
