Hotel Bombay Skyway

Our hotel is located in Tayyeb Manzil, right in Kurla West. If you know Mumbai, you know how crowded and lively this area is. We are near the Agra Road, so there is never a quiet moment outside. The noise of the city is just part of life here. We have a few floors in this building and it’s a bit of a climb if you have heavy bags, though we try to help out when we can. The rooms are small because space is hard to find in this city. We make do with what we have. We’ve got beds, fans, and small bathrooms in each unit. The walls are a bit thin, so you can sometimes hear the neighbors talking or a television playing down the hall. We spend a lot of our time dealing with the humidity and making sure everything stays dry. The lobby is just a small corner with a counter and a few ledgers. We know many of the shopkeepers on the street below and we often get our tea from the stall right next door. It’s a busy life and we are always on our feet. We don't have any grand ideas about being a five-star place. We just provide a spot for people to stay while they are doing their business in Kurla. Most of our guests are regulars who know what to expect when they walk through the door. We've been here for years and we've seen the neighborhood change a lot.
