Hotel Ashray

Hotel Ashray is located at 38/1139 in the Rajani Cooperative Housing Society. This is in the Pantnagar area of Ghatkopar. It’s a residential neighborhood for the most part. We have been here in Mumbai 400 075 for a long time. Our setup is pretty basic. We have rooms for people who are traveling through or need a place to stay for a night or two. It is not like those big fancy hotels you see on the TV. We are more of a local guest house type of place. The building is an older one, so it has some character, though the paint is peeling in a few spots. We try to keep things clean and tidy for whoever comes through the door. Most of our guests are people visiting family nearby or in town for work. We don't have a big restaurant, but there are plenty of places to eat just down the street in Pantnagar. The staff here is just a couple of us who take turns being at the desk. We know the regulars by name. It’s a simple operation. We handle the bookings and make sure the linens are changed. It gets a bit noisy on the weekends when there are weddings in the area, but that’s just how Ghatkopar is. We like being part of the community here and we usually keep the gate open during the daytime.
