Hotel Amigo

Hotel Amigo has been standing here at 289 Cadell Road for quite some time now. If you know Mumbai, you know Shivaji Park in Dadar is a landmark on its own. We are right in that neighborhood. It’s a busy part of the city, especially in the evenings when everyone comes out to the park for a walk. The building we are in is one of those typical older Mumbai structures. It isn't very tall, but it’s sturdy. Living and working in Dadar means you get used to the constant sound of traffic and people talking on the sidewalk. We have a mix of people coming in. Some are just here for a day or two for work, and others are visiting family nearby. The rooms are a bit small, but that’s just how it is in this part of town where space is hard to find. We try to keep things clean and functional. There aren’t any big chandeliers or carpets here. Just tiled floors and regular windows. You can see the street life from the front rooms. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded at the entrance because the road is so narrow with parked cars and bikes. We don't have a big team of people, just a few of us who have been here for years. We know the local shops and where to get the best tea around the corner. It’s a simple life and we just take each day as it comes.
