Hotel Ameya

Living and working in Dadar is always an experience. We are tucked away on Gokhale Road North, very close to Shivaji Park. You can hear the sounds of the city all day long. In the mornings, you see people going for their walks or cricket practice in the park. Our hotel is a bit of a landmark for locals who have been around here for years. It’s an old Mumbai building, so the ceilings are high and the windows are large. We don't have those modern glass walls. We have regular walls that we paint every few years to keep things looking okay. The beach is a short walk away, which is nice when the breeze comes in, though usually, it’s just humid. We have a small staff who knows the regulars by name. We don't have a big buffet; we just have a small kitchen that makes tea and snacks. Most people stay here because they want to be in the heart of the city without paying for those big luxury places by the sea. The traffic in Dadar can be a nightmare, so we always tell guests to leave early for the airport. We keep the rooms simple. There’s a bed, a cupboard, and a chair. It’s enough for most people who are just here to see the city or visit family. It is a bit noisy, but that is just how Dadar 400028 is.
