Hotel Al Ahad

Our place, Hotel Al Ahad, is at 163 Masjid Bunder. The address says Hennur Main Road, which is right opposite the Panama Tailor shop. This is in the 400003 area of Mumbai. It is a very tight and busy neighborhood. The streets are narrow and full of people carrying boxes or pulling carts. We have the Panama Tailor right across from us, so we see them working on suits and shirts all day long. The building is not very big. It is just a standard spot in a very old part of the city. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place clean because the city air is quite dusty here. We don't have a big fancy sign. Most people find us because they know the tailor or they are doing business in Masjid Bunder. The rooms are small but they serve their purpose. We have a small desk where we sit and wait for guests. Sometimes the noise from the street is so loud we have to shout to be heard. But that is just Mumbai for you. We have been in this spot for a while and we don't plan on changing much. It is just a simple hotel in a very busy commercial area. We just do our bit every day. It is crowded and noisy outside but we are used to it by now. We don't have much to say about it, it is just a home for us.
