Hotel Airlink

Hotel Airlink is situated at 75, Off Nehru Road in Vile Parle East. We are very close to the Santacruz Airport, which is the main reason people end up staying with us. In the 400099 area, you can always hear the planes taking off and landing, so it is never truly quiet. Being just off Nehru Road means we are tucked a little bit away from the heaviest traffic, but not by much. It’s a functional building meant for people who have flights to catch or have just landed and are too tired to go further. I spend a lot of my time answering the phone and telling people how to find the turn-off from the main road. The hotel isn't very large and we keep the decorations to a minimum. It’s more about being practical than being pretty. The rooms are basic and we try to keep the sheets clean and the water running. You see a lot of tired faces in our lobby at odd hours of the night. It is just the nature of being an airport hotel. We don't have a big restaurant or anything, but there are places nearby to grab a bite. It’s a simple operation and we just try to get people checked in as fast as we can so they can get some sleep. The lift can be a bit slow when we have a lot of guests, but it works and gets everyone upstairs eventually.
