Holy Family Hospital

Our hospital is situated on St Andrew’s Road in Bandra West. If you know this part of Mumbai, you know it’s a neighborhood with a lot of history and narrow streets. The building itself has been a part of the community for a long time. People walk here or take rickshaws to the gates. It’s a busy place because Bandra is always moving. Inside, the hallways are often filled with families and staff members rushing to the next task. We have multiple wings and floors, and it can take a new person a minute to find the right department. The nurses are usually the ones who know exactly where everything is. We have been through many seasons here, from the heavy monsoons to the heat of the summer. The atmosphere is professional but definitely has that local Bandra feel to it. It’s not a sterile corporate environment; it feels more like a place where people actually live and work together. We see a lot of different people every day, from long-time residents to newcomers in the area. The equipment gets used constantly, and we try to keep everything maintained. There is always a bit of noise from the street outside filtering in, but we are used to it. We just focus on the patients in the beds and the people waiting in the lobby. It’s a hard-working hospital that stays rooted in this specific corner of the city.
