Hitesh Gilder

Hitesh Gilder is situated at 10/2 in the Mahalaxmi Industrial Estate, over in Gandhi Nagar, Lower Parel. This area is always buzzing with activity, and being in the industrial estate means there's always something going on next door. Our space is a mix of a workshop and a small office area. It’s a bit cramped because we have so many tools and materials around. We've been here for years, and the walls are covered with notes and old calendars. We do a lot of specialized work that requires a steady hand. The lighting isn't the best, so we have extra lamps at every station. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans running full blast. We’re a small outfit, just me and a few others who have been doing this for ages. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room. If you come by, you'll likely find us in the middle of a job with our sleeves rolled up. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we have to. Most of our day is spent at the bench. It’s hard work, but we like the results. The estate can be a bit grimy, but it's a good place for a business like ours. We just show up every morning, do our best with the orders, and lock up at night.
