Hindustan Dorr Oliver Ltd is situated in the Chakala area, right near the Gandhi Market. If you know that market, you know it’s a very active spot. We have been operating from this location for quite a while now. The building is older, but it has a lot of character. We aren't some new-age startup with bean bags and coffee machines. We have a regular office with desks and files everywhere. It gets a bit dusty because of the market nearby, but we don’t really mind. It’s part of being in this part of town. Chakala is always buzzing with people and goods moving around. We just fit into that flow. Our office is a place where work actually gets done. We don’t spend much time on meetings about meetings. We just look at what needs to be finished and we do it. The walk to Gandhi Market is short, so we often go there for a quick break or to pick something up. Being in such a commercial hub makes everything feel very grounded. We aren't trying to impress anyone with our address. It’s just where we are. We have our regulars who know where to find us. It’s a busy, noisy, and honest place to work. We wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s home for us, and we plan to stay here for many more years to come because the location just works for the business.
