Hinddujahospital

Over in Mahim, Mumbai, things are always moving fast. This hospital is right in the middle of all that chaos. It’s not the biggest place, but it’s packed with people from early morning until late at night. You can hear the sounds of the city even when you’re deep inside the building. The elevators take a long time to come because so many people are using them. We spend a lot of time just directing folks to the right floor or the right room. The hallways are narrow and you have to be careful not to bump into anyone carrying a tray or a clipboard. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes. The staff take their tea breaks when they can, usually standing up in a corner somewhere. It’s a very Mumbai kind of place—practical, crowded, and always busy. We don't have a lot of empty space for decorations or big lobby areas. Every corner is being used for something important. Sometimes the humidity makes everything feel a bit sticky, but that’s just life in Mahim. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. People come here because they need to, and we try to make sure they get seen without too much fuss, even when it feels like a madhouse in the lobby. It is just a part of the neighborhood where things never really slow down much.
