Hima Bindu Traders

We run things out of E-301 in the Teak Wood building over at V Gardens. Being in Mulund West is nice because it feels a bit more like a community than the busier parts of the city. We are traders, so our days are mostly spent on the phone or checking inventory. It’s a small operation, really. We don't have a lot of staff, just a few of us who have known each other for a long time. The office is tucked away in a residential-style complex, which makes it feel a lot more personal. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We buy things, we sell things, and we try to make sure everyone is happy with the deal. Sometimes the rains in Mumbai make it hard to get deliveries out on time, and we have to spend the morning apologizing to people. That’s just how it goes sometimes. Our desks are usually a bit messy with notes and ledger books. We aren't very interested in high-tech systems if the old way still works fine for us. If you walk into our place, you’ll probably see us drinking tea and arguing about the latest market rates. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We just want to keep the trading going and stay honest with the people we work with every day. It works for us.
