Highway Motors India

Our shop, Highway Motors India, is located in Sion at 9th Main Sharadamba Nagar. We are on the ground floor, shop number 189, near the Jhul area. It’s a practical location because we are right where a lot of the transport activity happens. The shop is full of metal parts, engine components, and the general clutter you’d expect in an automotive business. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, as there is always a bit of grease or dust on the surfaces. We have a heavy shutter that we roll up every morning to start the day. Most of the time, we are busy checking inventory or talking to mechanics who need specific parts for a repair. The air is often filled with the sound of trucks passing by outside. We have a small area in the back for storage and a desk near the front where we keep the ledger. The chairs we have for visitors are a bit worn out, but they do the job. It’s a very hands-on kind of environment. We don't use a lot of fancy technology; it’s more about knowing the parts and where everything is kept on the shelves. Sometimes we have to dig through a few boxes to find exactly what someone is looking for. It’s a busy spot in Sion, and we’ve become a familiar face to many of the drivers and owners around here. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
