Hi-Tech International

Hi-Tech International is tucked away in Chamunda Nivas on Tagore Road, over in Santacruz West. We are at B-33, which isn't the biggest office you’ll ever see, but it serves us just fine for what we do. Santacruz is a lively area, and being on Tagore Road means there is always something going on outside. The building itself has been around for a long time, and you can tell by the way the stairs are worn down. We deal with international trade stuff, so there are always boxes and documents moving in and out. It’s not the kind of place with shiny glass walls or expensive furniture. We have our desks, our computers, and a lot of coffee to keep us going through the day. Sometimes the internet acts up or the courier is late, but that’s just part of the business. We don't spend much time worrying about how the place looks to outsiders because we are usually too busy making sure the orders are correct. Most of the staff has been around for years, so we’re more like a small family than a bunch of coworkers. We know the neighbors and the local tea stall guy knows exactly how we like our drinks. It’s a grounded way to work, staying close to the roots of the neighborhood while handling things that go far beyond it. It’s just our daily reality here.
