Our office is in the Contractor Building at Ballard Estate. It’s an old building with high ceilings and a lot of character, though the stairs can be a bit of a climb since we are on the first floor in Room 21A. The whole area has that old Bombay feel to it. We operate as an agency, so our days are filled with paperwork, phone calls, and dealing with various suppliers and clients. It’s not a modern glass-and-steel office. We have wooden desks and files stacked up in the corners. Sometimes the ceiling fan makes a bit of noise but we don't mind. We handle a lot of logistics and agency work for different products. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing budget. Most people know us because we’ve been at this address for a long time. We just try to be honest with people about what we can do. Some days are slow and we just sit and drink tea, and other days it feels like everyone is calling at once. That’s just how the agency business works. We know the streets around here well and the people who work in the other offices. It’s a tight-knit kind of place. We just focus on getting the documents right and making sure the orders are moving along. It is a steady way to spend the work week.
