Heera Chemicals

We are located in the Ismail Building at 153 S.V.P. Road. This is right in the heart of Girgaum. If you know Mumbai, you know how crowded it gets around Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Road and Khetwadi. The building is old, with those narrow stairs and high ceilings. We have been operating Heera Chemicals from this spot for quite some time. It is a busy area, so there is always the sound of horns and people shouting outside. We deal with various chemicals, mostly handling the orders and the distribution from this office. It is a bit of a squeeze getting larger items in and out, but we have a system that works. The walls are lined with old shelves and piles of papers. It feels like a place where real work gets done. We don't have air conditioning, just some old ceiling fans that move the humid air around. Most of our clients are businesses that have known us for years. We aren't really looking to expand into some big corporate office. We like being in Girgaon, even with all the traffic and the noise. It feels like we are part of the city's history here. We keep it simple—take the orders, check the stock, and make sure the deliveries happen on time. There is a tea stall downstairs that makes the best ginger tea, which we drink every afternoon.
