We are over in Vile Parle East, in a building called Gladdiola on Old Hanuman Road. Specifically, we’re in room A-501. Mumbai is a tight squeeze for space, so we do things differently with hydrofarms. It’s about growing things in water rather than a big field of dirt. Since we are in the middle of the city, we don't have acres of land, just this space where we manage our setups. It’s a bit technical at times, checking the water levels and the nutrients. We are just a few people who wanted to try something different in the city. It’s quiet in the office compared to the noise of the street outside. We spend a lot of time monitoring the plants and making sure the lights are working. It’s a bit of a hobby that turned into a real business. We don't have a big storefront or anything. Most of our work is done right here in this apartment-style setup. Sometimes the pipes leak or a pump fails, and we have to fix it ourselves. It’s part of the learning process. We are just regular Mumbaikars trying to grow food where you wouldn't expect it. It’s a lot of trial and error, but we keep moving forward. If you’re on Old Hanuman Road, you’re close to us.
