Hasit Chemicals

Our small spot is tucked away at 15 Kalbadevi Padra, inside the Jivraj Shamji Building. If you have ever been around this area, you know how busy the streets get with people and carts moving back and forth all day. Hasit Chemicals is a simple operation. We do not have a shiny lobby or anyone in a suit greeting people at the door. Most of the time, you will find us surrounded by stacks of paperwork and heavy bags that need to be shifted from one corner to another. The lighting in the building is a bit dim, and the stairs are narrow, which makes moving goods a real workout. We spend a lot of our time just talking to the regular customers who have been coming to us for years. It is more about those relationships than anything else. We keep our records in big ledgers that are starting to get a bit frayed at the edges. Sometimes the rain makes the walls a bit damp, but that is just part of being in an older building like this one. We do not worry much about appearances. As long as the chemicals are stored safely and we can find what we need when someone calls, we are happy. It is a bit chaotic and loud, but it is our daily life and we are used to the rhythm of the Jivraj Shamji Building.
