Hariya Prakash

Hariya Prakash is tucked away in Daya Mansion on Govindji Keni Road. We are right in the middle of Dadar East, which is always a bit chaotic. If you are looking for us, we are near Gadhikana Chowk, just behind Hindmata Cinema. That cinema is a landmark for everyone around here. Our building is one of those older ones that has a lot of character, and maybe a few leaky pipes too. We do a lot of work with paper and printing, so there is usually a smell of ink in the air. The space is filled with stacks of materials and old machinery that still runs better than the new stuff sometimes. It is a family-type atmosphere where we don’t really worry about fancy uniforms or polished floors. We just get the orders ready. Shivaji Road is right there, so there is always the sound of horns and people shouting outside. It’s a very local way of doing things. We have been in Dadar for quite some time, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot. But inside Daya Mansion, things stay pretty much the same. We take our tea breaks together and complain about the heat. It’s just how we work. No big speeches or complicated systems, just putting in the hours and making sure the print looks right before it goes out the door. We usually have a radio playing in the background to keep us going through the afternoon slump. It is just a regular day in Dadar for us.
