Harisons Cosmetics

If you are looking for us, we are in the Siddharth Apartment building in Nadiadwala Colony No 1. It is tucked away in Malad West, which is a busy area but our specific corner feels a bit more like a neighborhood. We started Harisons Cosmetics in this space and we have just stayed here as the business grew. It is an apartment that we have converted into a working area, so it has a bit of a homey feel even with all the boxes around. We spend our days mixing batches of creams and lotions. The kitchen area is now where we store some of our raw materials, and the main living room is full of packing tables. There is usually music playing on a small radio to keep us going through the long afternoons. It gets quite busy when we have a big order to get out, and the whole place smells like lavender or roses for days. Our staff mostly lives nearby, so they walk or take the rickshaw to get here. We are not some big factory with assembly lines. It is mostly us doing things by hand, filling the jars and sticking the labels on. We have to be careful with the space because it is not huge, so we are always moving things around to make room for new supplies. It is a bit of a squeeze sometimes, but we make it work.
