Our press is tucked inside Podar Chambers, at number 31 on S A Brelvi Road in the Fort area. Being in Fort feels like being in the old heart of the city, with all these big stone buildings and narrow streets. Our space has that heavy smell of ink and old paper that you only find in traditional printing shops. We have these old-style machines that make a lot of noise when they are running, but they still do a better job than some of the newer stuff. The walls are a bit stained and the floor is uneven, but it’s where we’ve worked for years. We don’t have a fancy storefront; you have to come into the building and find us among the other offices. Most of our day is spent cutting paper, mixing colors, and watching the rollers spin. It’s a messy job, and our hands are usually stained with ink by noon. We get a lot of walk-ins from the nearby offices needing forms or letterheads done quickly. There isn't much space to move around once the big stacks of paper arrive, so we have to be careful where we step. We don't use much technology besides the basics, preferring to stick to the methods we know work. It’s a bit of a relic compared to the modern shops, but we like the pace of work here in the old chambers.
