Harise Engineering Works

Harise Engineering Works is based out of Unit No 33 A and 34 in Bhandup West. It is a typical industrial unit with a lot of heavy tools and spare parts lying around in various bins. We spend most of our hours fixing things or making small parts for machines that have broken down elsewhere in the city. It is not the kind of place where you wear a suit. We wear grease-stained clothes and spend a lot of time on our feet on the hard concrete floor. The units 33 and 34 give us enough room to move the bigger pieces of equipment, but it still feels cramped when we have a big project going on. The lighting isn't the best, so we use portable lamps when we need to see the fine details on a lathe. We started this because we liked working with our hands and seeing how things fit together. There is a certain satisfaction in taking a broken piece of iron and making it useful again. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters for us. We just answer the phone, listen to what needs fixing, and tell you when it will be ready. Sometimes we run late because a part doesn't arrive on time or a machine breaks down, but we try to be honest about that. It is just a regular workshop doing regular engineering work in the heart of Bhandup. We stay busy and keep the machines running.
