Hari Om Logistics

Our setup is right on Reay Road, directly across from Hotel Vishva Vihar. It is a very busy stretch of road, especially with all the heavy trucks coming and going at all hours of the day and night. Logistics is mostly about keeping track of where things are and when they are supposed to arrive at their destination. We have a small office at C/11/1 that usually has a bit of dust coming in from the street traffic outside. There is always a clipboard nearby or someone checking a manifest on the screen. It is not a glamorous job at all, but it is what we know how to do. We spend a lot of time talking to drivers and making sure the loads are secured properly before they head out. Sometimes there are delays at the docks or the traffic is just standing still, and we have to adjust the plans on the fly. We have got a few old desks and a computer that has seen better days, but it gets the work done. The guys here have been in the transport business for years. We know the routes and which roads to avoid during certain times of the day when things get jammed up. It is mostly about staying organized and making sure the goods get from point A to point B without too much fuss. We drink a lot of tea to stay sharp. It is a noisy neighborhood, but that is just how it is here.
