Hardware Engg

Hardware Engg is tucked away in Vaibhav Chawl 5/1, right by Ganesh Chawk in the Kajupada area of Borivali East. If you know Mumbai, you know that Borivali is a crowded and lively place. Kajupada has its own tight-knit feel with narrow lanes and lots of houses close together. Our workspace in Vaibhav Chawl is small but it serves us well. We have been here at 400066 for a good while. There is always noise from the street, children playing, and people going about their business near Ganesh Chawk. It is a very human place to work. Inside Hardware Engg, we have our equipment squeezed in where it fits. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. Usually, you’ll just find us hunched over a desk working on some hardware components. It gets pretty hot and humid, especially in the summers, but we have our fans going and we just keep at it. Living and working in a chawl means you are always part of the community. We see our neighbors every day and they see us. It’s not the kind of place you’ll see in a magazine, but it’s where we do our real work. We are just a local engineering setup trying to get things done in the middle of Borivali. It’s a busy, cramped, and honest way to spend the day. You just get used to the noise.
