Our office is located at 106 in Elphinstone House, right on Murzaban Road. It is one of those older buildings that has seen a lot of history over the decades. You can feel the age of the place when you walk up the stairs. Hardik Impex Pvt Ltd has been operating out of this room for a while now. The area around here is always bustling because it’s so close to the main commercial hubs of Mumbai. There are always people rushing past on the sidewalk and the sound of horns is just part of the background music for us. Inside the office, it’s mostly just desks piled with papers and files related to our import and export work. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking shipping schedules on the computers. It gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of documents to sort through, but we make it work. The windows are old and sometimes get stuck, but they let in enough light. We don’t really do anything flashy here. It’s just a group of us trying to stay organized and make sure all the trade stuff goes where it needs to go without too much trouble. Sometimes we grab tea from the stall downstairs during a break. It’s a simple setup in a very busy part of town, and we’re used to the pace of life here. We don't need much more than our desks and a working phone line to get things done.
