Hall Mark Designer Printer

Hall Mark Designer Printer is over in Byculla, specifically in Block No 5 on the first floor. We are in the Meman M building, which is near the Vadilal ice cream factory. You can usually tell you're close because of the landmark, and the Vodafone Gallery is also nearby. Our shop is full of the smell of paper and fresh ink. It’s not a very big space, and between the printing machines and the stacks of paper, things can get a bit tight. We spend the day cutting, folding, and checking the colors on various jobs. Byculla is a busy neighborhood, and there is always something happening on the street below. We don't have a fancy showroom. Most people just come into the back where the work happens. The machines can be quite loud when they are running full tilt, so we’ve learned to talk over them. We drink our tea while waiting for the ink to dry on the bigger runs. It’s a lot of manual work, and our hands are usually a bit stained by the end of the day. We don't really worry about having a perfect office; we just care about the prints coming out right. It’s a local operation, and we’ve been part of this block for a while. It’s just us, the machines, and a lot of paper every single day. We try to keep the ink off the floor, but it’s a bit of a losing battle.
