Hair Tales Salon

You can find us at Shop No 1 in the Bela Court Building. We are on S B Road in Colaba. The Colaba Fire Bridge is just a short walk away. It’s a small salon, nothing too grand. We’ve been operating out of this corner for a good bit now. The space is a bit tight when we have more than three people inside, but we manage to move around. We have the usual mirrors and some chairs that have been around as long as the shop itself. Colaba is a touristy area, but most of our customers are locals who live in the nearby buildings. We do hair and some other basic grooming. The sink for hair washing is a bit old and the tap drips if you don't turn it tight. We keep our combs and scissors in those blue plastic bins. It’s just how we do things. There isn't a manager in a suit here. It's usually just me or one of the boys working on a client. We listen to the radio while we work, mostly old songs that everyone knows. The front window gets a bit dusty from the street traffic, so we wipe it down every few days. It's an honest little shop. We don't have a menu with fancy names for haircuts. You just tell us what you want and we try to do it right. It’s a quiet life here on S B Road.
