Hair Plus Salon

Our shop, Hair Plus Salon, is at Shop No 2 in the Vinayak Co Operative Housing Society on Nehru Road. We are right in Vile Parle East, not far from the Canara Bank. It’s a very residential area, so we know most of our customers by their first names or which building they live in. They have been coming to us for years. It’s a small space on Plot 172, and we have kept it pretty much the same since we first opened the doors. We do haircuts for men and women, nothing too complicated or over the top. Sometimes people come in just to get their hair washed because it’s easier than doing it at home in their small bathrooms. Nehru Road is always humming with activity, but inside the salon, it’s usually just us talking about daily life and local news. We don't have any big flashy signs, just the one over the door that has been there for years. The floor is tiled and easy to clean, which is good because we get a lot of people coming in from the dust outside. It’s a local business run by local people. We don’t spend money on fancy decorations because the customers just want a good cut at a fair price. If you’re walking toward the bank, you’ll see us right there. We try to be helpful and give people what they ask for without making it a big deal.
