Hai Fa

Hai Fa is our small shop tucked away on Sabu Siddik Road. We are at Shop No 14, right in the middle of all the activity on Saboo Siddiqe Road. It is not a very big street, but it feels like there is always something happening. You might have to look a little closely to find the sign for Yara Shop No 14, but we are there. We started this because we wanted a place of our own to work every day. The shop is filled with various items we've gathered over time. It can look a bit cluttered to an outsider, but we know exactly where everything is. Mornings start early with some tea and getting the place ready for whoever might walk in. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or lighting. It is a practical space for practical work. Most of our day is spent talking to regulars or helping people who are just passing through the area. Sometimes the street noise is so loud we have to shout a bit to be heard, but you get used to it. It’s a simple life running a business like this. We don’t have any big slogans or goals other than just being here and doing a decent job. If the fan is working and the tea is hot, it’s a good day for us at the shop. We’ve seen a lot of changes on this road over the years, but we stay the same.
