You can find us at the Namazi Building in Dongri. We are on the ground floor, shop number 2. Jail Road is a very busy place in Mumbai. It is right near Habib Hospital, so there are always people walking past our door. This restaurant has been around for a while now. It is a small space, but we make it work for us. Mumbai is always moving fast, and Dongri is no different. We open early to get things ready for the day. The kitchen is always humming with noise and steam. It is not a quiet, polished dining room. It is a place where you hear the street sounds and the clatter of plates. We serve traditional food that people in this neighborhood like to eat. Most of our customers are from the surrounding buildings or folks visiting the hospital nearby. We do not have a big management team or anything like that. It is just us running the show. We clean the tables, take the orders, and make sure the food is hot. Sometimes we run out of things if the crowd is too big on a particular day. That is just life in a small Mumbai shop. We do not use fancy words to describe what we do. It is just Haandi Restaurant on a busy street corner. If you are in the Dongri area, you will probably walk right past our door. It is a local spot for local people who just want a meal.
