H P Art & Crafts

Our shop is on the ground floor of the Sunil Sadan Building in Chembur East. It is number one, and we are right across from the Grand Central Hotel. H P Art & Crafts has been tucked away in this corner for a bit. The front window usually has a few items on display, but they tend to get a bit of dust on them from the street outside. Inside, the place is full of all sorts of things. It’s a bit of a maze with boxes stacked up and different materials tucked into every available corner. We don't really have a system that would make sense to anyone else, but we know where everything is. The floor is old tile and it creaks a bit when you walk near the back. It is a fairly small space, so things can get a bit crowded if more than two people are moving around at once. We spend a lot of time just sorting through stock or cleaning up after a project. The location is good because people staying at the hotel often wander over to see what we have. It is a relaxed kind of place. We don't wear uniforms or anything like that. We just wear what is comfortable for a day of handling supplies and talking to the locals who stop by. Chembur East is a busy area, but our little spot in Sunil Sadan feels like its own quiet world most of the time. We just keep busy with our hands and stay until dark.
