Our office for H K X Logistics Pvt Ltd is situated at 79/80 Masjid Bunder Road in Naroda. We are right across the street from the Princess Dock Corner, which is a very busy and chaotic area. If you’ve ever been down this way, you know the sound of the trucks and the smell of the salt air from the docks. Our building is old, and the stairs are a bit steep to climb every day. Inside, it’s a typical logistics office. There are maps pinned to the walls and stacks of shipping documents on every available surface. We spend a lot of time on the phone or on the computer, tracking shipments and talking to port officials. It’s a high-pressure environment because things are always moving or getting delayed. The traffic on Masjid Bunder Road is famous for being slow, so we often see the same trucks stuck outside our window for an hour. We don’t have any fancy lounge or a coffee machine; we just have a water cooler and a small stove to make tea. The floors are a bit scuffed from years of people walking in with heavy boots and dusty clothes. It’s a practical workspace for people who understand the shipping business. We’ve been at this location for years, and we’ve seen the docks change quite a bit. It’s a tough job, but it’s what we know how to do here in Naroda. We stay until the last manifest is signed.
