H A I Damudi & Co is located at number 150 in Kalbadevi. We are right on the 4th Cross, 1st Stage, just opposite the Bank of India. It’s a very old part of the city, so the streets are narrow and always full of carts and people. Our building has been here for ages. You can tell by the way the wood creaks in some spots. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and shelves piled high with papers and samples. We don’t have much in the way of decoration. It’s a working office. The fan on the ceiling makes a bit of a clicking noise, but we’re used to it by now. We’ve been operating from this spot for quite a long time. Most of the other shopkeepers around here are our friends. We see them every morning when we open the shutters. It’s a busy atmosphere in Kalbadevi. There is always someone shouting or a bell ringing. We just focus on what we have to do. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out. It’s just part of being in this neighborhood. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are and come by when they need us. H A I Damudi & Co is just a traditional place where we do business the old-fashioned way. It works for us and keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday without any extra complications.
