Gwyneth Rasquinha

Dadar West is always a bit of a rush, but inside 206 it’s a bit quieter. I’ve been working out of this spot for a good while. My name is Gwyneth Rasquinha, and it’s just me mostly, doing the work that needs to get done. The building is old, like most things in this part of town, but it has a certain character that I like. I don’t have a receptionist or a big lobby. If you come to 206, you just knock. The window looks out over a bit of the street, and I can hear the trains if I listen close enough. It’s not a corporate office with matching furniture. I have my desk, my papers, and my tea mug. Most of the people I talk to are regulars who have been coming to me for years. We don’t talk in big business terms. We just figure out what needs doing and I get to it. Sometimes the paperwork piles up, and I spend the whole afternoon just sorting things out. I like the independence of being here in Dadar. It’s central, so it’s easy to get to, even if the traffic is a mess most afternoons. I don't have a website or a marketing plan. I just do my work, pay my bills, and try to keep things moving. It’s a simple life in a busy city, and I wouldn't change it for anything.
