Guru Nanak Industries

Guru Nanak Industries is located right on the ground floor of Sushila Sadan, number 5 in Girgaon. It’s an old building, but it works for what we do. We’ve been operating out of this space for a while now. The ground floor location makes it easy to move machinery and materials in and out without too much trouble. It gets a bit noisy sometimes because of the work, but the neighbors are used to it by now. Girgaon is a tight-knit place and we feel like we’re part of the furniture here. Inside, it’s mostly tools, workbenches, and whatever project we’re currently in the middle of. There isn't much room for a fancy reception area or anything like that. We usually have grease on our hands and dust on our clothes by noon. It’s just the way it goes when you’re running a small industry. We don't spend money on big signs or anything flashy. Most people find us because they know where Sushila Sadan is. The lighting isn't the best, but we know where everything is kept. Some days the heat is a bit much, but we keep the fans going and get through the list of tasks. We aren't trying to be anything big, just a local spot getting things made. If you come by, you'll see us working. We don't have much time for sitting around. That’s just life at Guru Nanak Industries.
