Gur Sarab Automotive is tucked away on D N Road in the Manaji Bagh section of Bopodi. If you are driving through Bopodi, you might miss the turn-off if you aren't looking for it. We’ve been at this spot for a while, and the floor is usually covered in a bit of oil or grease. That’s just part of the job when you work with cars and parts all day. The shop isn't very large, so we have to stack things pretty high on the shelves. D N Road can get quite backed up with traffic, which sometimes slows down our deliveries. We don't have a fancy waiting room or air conditioning. Most of the time, we are just out back or at the front counter checking on parts. It’s a lot of manual work and getting your hands dirty. Manaji Bagh is a decent area, and we get along well with the other shop owners on the street. We use a lot of old ledgers to keep track of things because the computer acts up sometimes. It’s just how we do things here. We don't have a big sign out front, just the name Gur Sarab Automotive so people know they’ve reached the right place. We stay open until the sun goes down, and then we lock up and head home. It’s a simple routine, but it works for us.
