Down at 1/Dewki Wadi on J.K.Sawant Marg in Mahim, you’ll find Gunesh Concrete Products. It’s a bit of a rough-and-tumble place, as you’d expect for somewhere that deals with concrete. We have piles of sand, cement bags, and finished products like blocks and pipes sitting around. It’s definitely not a place for clean shoes. We spend our days mixing and pouring, or moving heavy items onto trucks. It’s hard physical labor. We’ve been in Mahim for years and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit, but we’re still here doing the same thing. The shop isn't much to look at, just a functional space where we get the work done. We don't have a website or a marketing person. Most of our customers are local builders or people doing repairs on their own homes. They just come by, tell us what they need, and we help them load it up. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, like when it rains and the yard gets muddy, but we keep going. We don't make big promises, we just provide the concrete products people ask for.
