We are on the first floor of 72/74 Kika Street, right in the heart of Gulalwadi. If you know this part of the city, you know how tight the streets are and how much is always going on. It’s a very old area with lots of character. Our office is up a narrow set of stairs that can be a bit tricky if you are carrying anything heavy. Inside, it’s a simple space with a few desks and a lot of shelving for all the documents we have to keep. We work in the import and export business, so we are constantly dealing with different forms and certificates. It’s not the most exciting work, but it keeps us busy. The fans on the ceiling are old and they click as they spin, which is a sound we’ve all gotten used to. We don't have any polished marketing materials or a fancy reception area. If someone visits, we just pull up a spare chair for them. We usually get our lunch from one of the small eateries nearby because the food is good and cheap. We are just a small team of people trying to stay organized in a very chaotic part of town. We don't have any big corporate goals, just the daily task of making sure things are shipped. It’s a bit cramped and noisy, but it’s where we do our work every day.
