Our office is situated at 308 Goregaon East, specifically in the 1st Stage area on 13th Cross. We’re in Kuvempunagar, which is a busy little pocket of the city. One of the landmarks people use to find us is the Kusum Masala factory nearby. You can often smell the spices in the air when the wind blows the right way. Gujarat Roadways has been operating from this 13th Cross location for a good while. The neighborhood is a mix of residential houses and small commercial units. It’s not a quiet suburb, that’s for sure. Our office is pretty modest. We have a desk for the manager and a few stools for the drivers and helpers. We don't spend money on fancy things because we’d rather keep the business running steady. The street outside can get quite narrow, especially when trucks are trying to navigate the 13th Cross. It takes some skill to get in and out of here. We know most of our neighbors, and it’s a friendly enough atmosphere. Most of our days are spent checking logs and making sure the vehicles are on time. It’s a lot of routine work, but we like it. The 1st Stage of Kuvempunagar is a practical place to be for a company like ours. We just do our work and go home when the sun sets and the shops start to close.
