Green Thumb

Down here in Vikhroli East, we spend most of our time with plants and soil. Green Thumb isn't a massive nursery, but we have a good variety of things growing. It gets pretty humid around here, which the plants seem to like even if we don't always enjoy it. We’ve got pots and tools scattered around the back area because there’s always something needing to be re-potted or trimmed. People from the nearby apartments usually wander in looking for something green for their balconies. We aren't experts who give long speeches; we just know what grows well in this climate and what doesn't. Some days the sun is really beating down, and we spend half the time just watering everything. It’s a quiet kind of work compared to the rest of the city. We don't really have a polished storefront. It's more of a functional space where we keep the stock healthy. If you come by, you might find us covered in a bit of dirt, but that’s part of the job. We try to keep things simple and help people pick out a plant that won't die the next week. It’s just us doing what we know how to do in this little corner of Vikhroli. The birds seem to like it here too, which is nice.
