We are tucked away in the Hiren Industrial area in Mahim. You have to go down the 16th Main and turn at the 10th Cross to find us. We are right behind that big Johnson and Johnsons building, so that’s usually the easiest landmark to tell people. Our unit is 104. It’s an industrial space, so don’t expect anything shiny. There is usually a lot of noise from the other machines in the building and the smell of ink is pretty strong once you step inside. We do all sorts of graphic work and printing here. Most of our day is spent at the computers or checking the machines to make sure the colors aren't coming out weird. It’s a lot of sitting and then a lot of rushing when a deadline hits. We’ve been in this unit for years. The floor is a bit stained and the walls could use some paint, but the equipment works and that is what matters most. Tavarkere is a busy neighborhood, so getting deliveries in and out can be a bit of a challenge in the afternoons. We usually have a pot of tea going in the corner. If you drop by, you’ll probably see a few of us leaning over a proof sheet trying to figure out a small detail. We don't do much advertising. People just find us through word of mouth or because they work in the same industrial estate.
