Grand Hyatt Mumbai

Our address is A-606 in Mauli Prasad, which is right in Kurar Village, Malad East. It’s across from the Malad Shakari Bank, so that’s how people find us. This isn’t the big hotel building you might be thinking of. This is more of a local office or a staff coordination point. The area is very crowded and busy. There are small shops everywhere and bikes zipping past all the time. Our office is inside the building, up on the sixth floor. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is being moody, which happens sometimes. Inside, it’s just a normal room with some tables and chairs set up. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating things. It’s noisy outside, but we’ve gotten used to the sounds of Kurar Village. Sometimes it’s the temple nearby, other times it’s just the street vendors calling out. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls. It’s mostly just calendars and notes taped up. We grab lunch from the local eateries around the bank. The food is spicy and usually quite good. It’s a very different side of the business, much more grounded and local. We work long hours sometimes, especially when there’s a lot of paperwork to finish before the day ends. But it’s a good group of people here. We just get on with it and try to stay organized in the middle of all the bustle.
